I Approved this Message.

Tonight when Julia was playing, Kurt overheard her say to her Polly Pockets - "I approved this message." I am not sure what she was "approving", but I heard her say it again later. First of all, she doesn't get to see that much regular TV - it's Playhouse Disney or PBSkids usually. I never have the TV on during the day. The only time the TV is on while they are up is when we're watching the evening news, but usually the kids are playing or doing something else. She just hears and processes everything...it's a little baffling that she picked up on that one and not some of my choice phrases. But then again, she was born on Election Day 2004 when Bush was re-elected ...perhaps politics are in her blood? Both Grandpa Jims would be proud of her.
