Stay on the Carpet!

We got new carpet and furniture for our family room a few months ago. I don't know why...we're idiots. We have 2 small kids that exist; one drools, one thinks she's an acrobat and they both consume food and beverages. The one thing we have tried to stop them from doing is eating in the family room. They've been pretty good about it. If they want a snack, we make them sit on the outside of the room in the foyer on this area rug (if they sit here, they can still see the TV). I am always saying to them to "stay on the piece of carpet" like they are a little dogs. They are pretty good listeners. This morning, I had to take their picture, because they were being cute. Notice that Jimmy does not have a shirt on. It is because he thinks he can drink the milk out of the cereal bowl when it is COMPLETELY FULL OF CEREAL. He is not very smart. I wonder if this is on any milestone chart.
